Afrojack

Afrojack is a Dutch DJ, music producer, and remixer. In 2007, he founded the record label Wall Recordings, and his debut album, Forget the World, was released in 2014. Afrojack regularly features among the Top 10 artists in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list.

As one of the most innovative and sought-after artists, Grammy Award-winning producer and DJ Afrojack continues to shatter boundaries and push music in bold new directions. He made his breakthrough with the multi-platinum-selling single “Take Over Control.”

In recent years, Afrojack has been named one of the 50 Most Important People in EDM by Rolling Stone, featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 music list, became the second DJ ever to cement his hands into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and performed during the interval act of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

He delivered a show that was nothing short of spectacular. Alongside Dutch top talents Glennis Grace and Wulf, and backed by a classical youth orchestra, Afrojack became the first DJ in Eurovision history to perform during the interval act of the Grand Final. Over 200 million households in 41 countries witnessed Afrojack performing on the iconic Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam, culminating in a powerful finale inside the venue.

In 2021, Afrojack added the worldwide hit “HERO” to his already impressive repertoire — a collaboration with David Guetta. The song, co-written by Ellie Goulding, Stargate, Ryan Tedder, and Jamie Scott, became a No. 1 hit on the U.S. dance radio chart and has since amassed over 50 million streams. Most recently, “HERO” was nominated for a Grammy Award (2022) in the category Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
